Above all else, you want to drive traffic. Whether it's to your website, social media, CTA's or anything else - that's the ultimate goal. If you drive traffic, you have a chance to convert, which leads to income. Local SEO is the most important part of your strategy to drive traffic, it's kind of all encompassing. Your website plays a major role. Social media plays a major role. Reviews play a major role. Backlinks. Copy. All of it. But it all ties into your Local SEO strateg
I get asked the question a lot. Why don't you go after big accounts? That's where the money is. Alpha Dog has had the same mission since Day 1, we want to help business owners that run small to medium sized businesses succeed with their digital marketing. We hear the same problem all the time. "I run a small business. I'm already working 60+ hours a week. Even if I could somehow carve out the time to learn about building a website, social media marketing and SEO - I would nev
It'll be four years this fall. It's hard to believe. Time moves fast, doesn't it? I started the Alpha Dog Agency in the fall of 2013 in my in-laws basement. I remember my first 'day' on the job. I setup shop on the small desk they had in the corner, laid my notes out in front of me and made my first cold call; to Jeremy Kwon DDS. Dr. Kwon is still a client to this day. We designed a new logo for them, which you can see here. We've also started the social media transition, giving their accounts a new feel and look. We'll also be adding some customer service features to their social media profiles. Additionally, we'll make sure they are cool with
Big news from Downtown South Bend. Linden Grill is moving. After outgrowing their space in the JMS Building downtown, they'll be reopening at 119 South Michigan Street, in the space that was previously occupied by Yummy Cupcakes. They'll be taking on the space next door as well, giving them over 2,000 square feet to welcome new customers. Linden Grill will be closed through the month of May and into the early days of June, with an early to mid-June reopen being the current pl
