SBB Asks: What Are Your Favorite Apps?

We all spend a ton of time on our phones. With this installment, I asked Season 1 South Bend Beat guests which apps are their favorite.

I asked each guest the same five questions and will be posting their answers to each question, one blog at a time. Their answers will be listed in order of appearance. I'll also be adding my answers at the bottom.

The point of this series is to dive into the habits and rituals of local, successful personalities. Each and every guest on South Bend Beat is just that and they are all playing a role in this South Bend resurgence. It's a very Ferriss-ian project. Enjoy!

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE APPS?

MICHAEL YODER

Marco Polo, UNUM, Evernote

LESLIE PINSON

Instagram, Spotify, Podcasts, FaceTime

BIG PERM

"I can't live without Facebook, of course! Whether it's browsing or looking for topics to talk about on the radio or interacting with listeners, it's a must. I'm a die hard sports fan so I couldn't live without my ESPN app. Then, I'll probably with with Amazon to round out my Top 3."

ANGELO DICARLO

"Twitter, Podcasts app and usually some silly game that keeps me occupied for a few days or weeks. Or months. My wife made me add that."

AARON NICHOLS

Rise Up, Shazam, Scribd

ALASTAIR WILLIS

"WhatsApp, for texting internationally with family and friends. Photos, which is full of pictures of my three-year-old daughter. And YouTube."

MAYOR PETE BUTTGIEG

Dark Sky, Word With Friends

CHRIS HAGSTROM-JONES

MiLB First Pitch, Buffer, Activity

MARA TRIONFERO

"I'm pretty simple technologically so other than Music and Reminders, I don't have many go-to apps. The Toon Blast game is a major time suck, but it helps me clear my mind to better focus on the next thing coming up."

KYLE O'CONNOR

Dropbox, DraftKings, Echofon, Barstool
