Wow! What a whirlwind the last few days have been.
In the middle of all of this excitement, I wanted to take a quick minute to give thanks and show some gratitude.
First of all, I want to thank our Lord. None of this would have been possible without my faith carrying me through. I know that my faith and relationship with the Lord will carry me throughout all my ventures, personal and business.
I also want to thank my parents. They believed in me from the jump. When I came to them with the crazy idea of running my own pizza restaurant, they couldn't have been more supportive. For that, I can't thank them enough.
Not only them, the rest of my family along with my friends have made the past handful of years some of the best of my life. It seems that around every turn, I gain more support and encouragement from various people in my life. You'll never know how grateful I am and how humbling it is. Thank you, really.
I started working at Bruno's when I was 17 years old. I fell in love with the pizza business and have not walked away since. I took over the Bruno's Pizza on Edison in May of 2011 and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Ownership gave me a chance to shine and do what I do best, sling pizza.
And those blessings have allowed me to fulfill another lifelong dream, be my own boss and run the show at my own restaurant. Starting on January 1, I'll be at the same location but the restaurant will be known as Mimmo's Pizza. We'll be switching some things up, adding to the menu and making our ordering a little more user-friendly. But you'll still be able to find great pizza right here at 204 West Edison.
I also can't thank Kyle, Tina and the rest of the Alpha Dog Agency team enough. I've put a lot on their plate the last few months with this rebranding and they have knocked every task out of the park. I'm eternally grateful and very excited for what we'll be bringing you guys in the future from a promotional aspect, including an exciting partnership with the South Bend Cubs and an endless supply of special deals.
I can't wait to start this next journey of my life with all of you. It's because of all of you that it's even possible. So let's get back to business and and ready to rock, we have some pizza to eat.
