First off, I want to thank all of you, really thank you, for the continued support and years of loyalty. I'm looking forward to serving all of you again downtown.
I know it's been a long road getting the downtown location back up and running. I'm just as frustrated, if not more frustrated, than you are. Moving a restaurant is a huge process and even I underestimated what it would take to get it done.
We didn't initially plan on it taking this long. As a matter of fact, we thought the process would go smoothly and quickly. There are things that are just out of our control. Working with multiple contractors, trying to get many things done, can be a long and stressful process that simply requires time.
In the meantime, I've truly appreciated the support you've shown to the location on Western. It means so much to me to have such a loyal customer base that goes out of their way to support local business like that.
I can proudly say that we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. The contractors are working to finalize the construction of the new restaurant and everything is in progress toward a grand re-opening. We're finalizing our new menu as well. Before you worry, all of your favorite Linden Grill favorites will still be on the menu, ready to order. We're just adding a few other options as well that we hope you'll enjoy. When the menu is finalized, it'll be posted on our website and our social media pages. It'll be the same food, prepared in the same way, that you've come to love over the last 16 years.
The new location will also be very family friendly as well as being catered toward those needing a quick business lunch downtown. And for the after hours adults, we'll have a full bar that's completely brand new and will have flatscreen TV's throughout. We'll also be adding some craft beer options. I'm really excited about everything we'll have to offer.
As a reminder, our new address is 119 South Michigan Street, we're directly across the street from the South Bend Chocolate Cafe downtown.
I want to thank each and every one of you again for your continued patience and support. When our doors open back up (soon!), I know that it'll be worth the wait and you'll enjoy Linden Grill more than you ever have before. It's been a pleasure serving you the last 16 years and I'm looking forward to welcoming you back for many more.
